Temp-to-Perm Program
NEC has introduced the temp-to-perm program for two reasons: Firstly, it minimizes the overwhelming cost that you as a business owner would incur by hiring a recruiting agency or headhunter, since you do not have to pay the typical 20% finders fee for a permanent employee. Secondly, this program provides employers and employees the chance to get to know each other before committing to each other, which is invaluable when you are looking for an employee who gels with and can add value to your team. In our temp-to-perm program, NEC Staffing will screen, test, and interview employees using our recruiting process for permanent hire candidates to meet the job description as required by your company.
How it works
The accepted employee remains an employee of NEC for 90 days, working as a "temporary" for your company. NEC will propose an hourly rate that the employer will continue to pay. During those 90 working days, the employee will remain on NEC's payroll. At the end of the 90 working days, your company may choose to add this tested and trained employee to its permanent staff, with NO fee. You may also choose to keep the employee on NEC's payroll for as long as you like, or restart the temp-to-perm process if the candidate is not quite the right fit.
